The Sacramento valley has been in a blanket of fog for about two weeks - several of us wanted to get out and get above the fog, so we headed up the hill. A good trail, 6/10 difficulty. Of course, I got a ton of lights and chimes right before one of the more complicated obstacles, and 4WD stopped working. A couple battery disconnect/reconnect cycles and things cleared and I was back on my way. Right Rear wheel speed sensor fault.

Nice. It’s a good trail to practice on as it’s short and has a bit of everything. Did you come down the backside? I’ve only ever gone in & out the same way.

The fog has been extreme! I’ve driven from Berkeley to Truckee twice this week and the valley is so dark. I start in sun, hit fog near Vallejo, and then the sun reappears in Auburn.

This happens way too often.
Had the exact same happen to mine, right rear speed sensor o-ring was rolled and not sealed properly from factory. Had a slow axle fluid leak from the same spot

Excellent video, I know what you mean about the Sacramento fog. I have been going up to Amador county to see the sun. Would like to go wheeling with your group. Got to love the two doors! I'm looking for a new group to wheel with. This is last week at the ranch.

Nice! if you're on facebook, check out Gold Country Broncos - we are a group of Bronco enthusiasts based out of Sacramento, but we have people join us on drives from all over the bay area. Good group of people, we encourage Bronco Sport owners to come along on the easier drives, and are even inclusive of Jeeps and Toyotas :)

Signal peak was our “adopt a trail“ back in the ‘80’s…a little different now…seems easier?…still great views!

Hey 22badskwatch,

Thanks for sharing the video. Signal hill looks like a lot of fun, not too tough, but spicy enough to keep it interesting. At the 11:37 mark in your video, it appears there is a nice route to the left, up between the two tree onto the rock, and appears to continue on up to the far ridge. Have you ever tried that route?

I was up there that day as well. After you guys.
It was a great day on the trail and my first time in the bronco. It did pretty well.
