No. It’s pathetic. A 4Runner from 20 years ago can beat it.

the bronco is supposed to have it all from an off-road perspective. Finally a capable vehicle that also has the speed and power. Without the speed part why does it exist? This is a major deal killer if true and not user error

Now that you mentioned it, I have to agree. Since this is the 2.7L upgrade, it would be nice to see some more oomph that what has been shown already.

Does the FE have a Sport mode? I know it doesn’t on the GOAT dial, but the manual seems to say you can turn on Sport on the shifter…

Clock was already close to 1 second and still at 0. I'm guessing with dry pavement/sport mode you'll see low 6's. Makes a world of difference in my 2.7 f150.

Something ain't right. No hint of wheel spin, yet a ranger will burn the tires off. Looked like a leisurely take off from a stop light.

I'll reserve my judgment until more Broncos are out there and tested.

8+ seems high. Wrong fuel? Lack of break in? Trans learning? Power break? Mode?

The 4 door FE is running about 5,255 pounds.

My 2 door base 2.7 sas is about 800 pounds lighter.

Traction control did go on a few times. I also was in normal mode, and it was wet/raining.

We are planing on getting a Offical Dragy on a dry road this week.

This was all I had time for this morning.

Exactly, that’s what I figured. I think you can do much better than 8.1 seconds with the right conditions.

Looks like the traction control was pulling power on the take off. You guys that think its gonna be slower than the jeep with a min van motor haven't driven an ecoboost.

Makes sense; it’ll be a lot lighter. Rip out the back seats, lose the spare tire, etc. And we can probably get these bad boys to Tesla Plaid 0-60 speeds

You forgot the top, the doors, the fenders, quarter panels, tailgate, front bumper. Lose all of it and I bet it could get into the 4s with a tune and a turbo package, and intercooler, and slicks, and 104 octane.

I’m pretty sure he did a boosted launch. You can see the suspension load. I’m boggled now. To me it’s a big deal as it will be driven daily on the freeway. I expected it to be a little quicker than a 4 door rubicon wrangler.

I already sold my STi to my friend. I’m anticipating I’m going to have to learn to drive at a slower pace. No more chucking it into corners. Exit and on ramps approached with caution. A lifestyle change, if you will, top down enjoy the view.

If you want fast, get a Mach-E. Anyone buying a Bronco for high speed performance is buying the wrong vehicle. If you are buying it to tow a larger trailer, you are buying the wrong vehicle. You need to select the right tool to do the intended task.
