Replaced my dash kicker cs witn the ks version. And switched to a 600hz bass blocker instead of the 300hz i had.
To Anyone considering upgrading, do yourself a favor and go with the ks
Do it once
These wiring diagrams helped alot as well.

So, the spare tire mount is connected with linkage to the tailgate and they both open together at the same time? Very impressive fabrication work.

Also curious about the audio system, seems like your audio system deserves a full build page for itself. How much did the epicenter bass eq help your system? I don't see it on the latest picture of behind the panel showing the amplifier. What is the MUSWAY unit? did it replace the Epicenter?

yes, they open together, took a while to figure out a solid solution.

got rid of the epicenter
Was tired of always adjusting the bass

the musway replaced the kicker key 200.4
Alot more adjustability for the speakers

Finally got around to installing the mishimoto intercooler
And morimoto replacement headlight
That intercooler install is a pain
Took about 3 hours
But sucked

NIce !!!!

Yeah, you can't get ahead of the directions. Thought I was cool and tried to work ahead and it bit me in the butt. Gotta leave the brackets loose before you put the intercooler in. 😁

I have not had any ill effects from the intercooler being in front of the rad. Runs the same temp as before. No CEL.

I did not install mine. I asked Mishimoto about both of those plastic bits. I knew the one you pictured in your hand, would not work with what I was doing so I asked. They told me you can run without either one of them. They are just to help the air flow. Neither is "required". I still ran the inner one because it was not in the way on my build.

It is amazing how much room is in there when the IC is not there.

Hey @Aztec1382 - Sweet rig! Your tire carrier + rear bumper build is epic.

Like @BAUS67 mentioned, that ducting is not mission critical. The more air you can duct toward the intercooler, the better. We were able to optimize for the stock bumpers, but in a perfect world, we would have every aftermarket bumper in house to design ducting. That would just be insane! I'd consider it a challenge to fab whatever ducting you needed for the bumper you designed/purchased.

Let me know if any questions come up!

- John

JUst read through your whole thread! Awesome! Love the spare tire carrier and suspension upgrades. Bookmarked a couple posts for future reference. Hopefully they'll let mine out of the paint shop before the week is out and I can get started. The snow and desert on the same day was super cool, and it looked like the kids had super fun in the river. We need more 2live crew Tuesday cruises! I need that trailer hitch you cut off. If you see a dude out digging through your scrap pile.. ignore

Have a great day man!

Wow what an incredible build. It costs $$$$ but also the skill set of you and your sources is amazing. Very hard to find that kind of talent unless you want to spend a whole lot of money and search across the US. LOL I think I am pretty good doing most of my own work- maintenance, small mods here and restoring an 87 Chevy Pick Up but this is altogether another few levels from where I am at!

If you were close, you could have the hitch.
Hopefully you get your bronco back soon
