Seeing that 2 door base makes me question the Badlands with the high package I basically went to for heated seats with the manual transmission. I went Black Diamond for the MGV and rear locker, so what the hell I might as well spend the extra $8300 for the badlands stuff. $30,300 base vs $47,085 Badlands high. The base is a hell of a good value.
My basic builds would have cost the following on different models:
Base $30,300 (added aux switches and keyless entry keypad)
Big Bend $36,275 (added rear locker, tow hitch, aux switches, keyless keypad)
Black Diamond $38,250 (added keyless keypad and tow hitch)
OBX - no thanks, I like women. No manual option is a non starter for me.
Badlands $47,085 (added high package and tow hitch)
I guess I couldn’t go Base as I need the hitch for my boat and bike rack. I know there will be aftermarket hitches, but the electronics are so touchy in these new Fords I didn't want to void a warranty adding a harness. The Black Diamond was my sweet spot, I want the MGV and hose out interior for a beach truck, but I later changed my mind for Badlands...damn you heated seats!
