Grapevine Ford in Grapevine, Texas....I spoke to them they will not have any ADM and will accept X Plan. That's today....does not mean that will be tomorrow. Until I see it on official paperwork then it's just talk.

I just realized that I qualify for x-plan through my AAA membership. I guess I just donated $25 to MCA.

Does anyone know how much the X plan actually discounts off the vehicle? An earlier post suggests one can qualify if you buy 100 shares of Ford stock (currently trading at $6.74/share) to be extended the same offer. However, if MSRP for a vehicle is $55,000 and what I’ve read online is between 0.4% and 2% which equates to about $200-$1,100 off?

Question: Is it worth it?

This tends to vary by vehicle and region. On something new like Bronco, it's usually on the low side. Something like an Explorer should be at least $2k.

I googled "AAA membership ford x plan pricing" and found this. Maybe I would have to work at AAA now that you say that.

I don't think a dealer can refuse X plan

Dealer has the choice to participate or not.
Participating dealerships agree to comply with all of the terms outlined in this document, including the Red Carpet Lease provisions. Authorized Ford and Lincoln dealerships are encouraged, but not obligated, to participate in the New Vehicle Purchase Program. Participating dealerships must sign a Dealer Agreement located on the AXZD-Plan Pricing Agreement on each New Vehicle Purchase Program sale or Red Carpet Lease.

I am in Charlotte as well. I have two reservations. One with Granger and one with a family friend in WV. If you guys are interested in driving 4 hours I can see what kind of deal he will be offering.

I have always heard it is difficult to get the best pricing in Charlotte.

I'd have no problem driving 4+ hours if it'll save me a couple grand. Let me know what you figure out. I was considering Granger + shipping as well. Will have to play around with price once I get a response from Keith Hawthorne.
