That's the kind of feedback that pushes me to go Black Diamond...I really want the 12" screen and disconnect on the Badlands, but Sport mode would be used a ton. It is really ridiculous that it is not offered on Badlands. For those that don't get why we want a Sport mode, trust me, you will want it. Normal is likely going to hang on to gears until the engine lugs. My F150 3.5 Ecoboost has a Sport mode and I turn it on for any kind of city driving. The transmission holds on to gears so long in normal mode that I find myself stabbing the throttle just to get it to shift. Also, with these turbo charged vehicles they can drastically improve throttle response by keeping some boost built up. This might be a deal breaker for me as well. I'll be extremely surprised if the Bronco will ever see an aftermarket tune. It would be like trying to tune a Tesla since the Bronco will have over-the-air updates.
I'm not following. Why would it hang onto a gear after I manually shift to whichever gear I choose, whenever I choose? For those that don't get why we want a Sport mode, trust me, you will want it. Your complaint is a non-issue as they specifically fixed the problem for Bronco. For those that don't get why we want a Sport mode, trust me, you will want it. We'll need feedback from the designers to confirm, but I didn't think Badlands, their most capable offroad trim level, was designed with inner-city driving as it's focus? That's the kind of feedback that pushes me to go Black Diamond...I really want the 12" screen and disconnect on the Badlands, but Sport mode would be used a ton. Obx with the sasquatch package is the sweet spot for majority of folks I would think. We'll need feedback from the designers to confirm, but I didn't think Badlands, their most capable offroad trim level, was designed with inner-city driving as it's focus?
Wouldn't the OBX be better suited for that purpose?
Inner city driving? Don't know where you got that, who said that, or where did you get the idea that "inner city driving" was the sweet spot for Sport mode? Ever been in an inner city? No need for it there probably. My Badlands or BD will probably never see an inner city anyway with the soft top. We'll need feedback from the designers to confirm, but I didn't think Badlands, their most capable offroad trim level, was designed with inner-city driving as it's focus?

I um..... Got it from the comment you were quoting?Inner city driving? Anyway, Bronco Badlands would be WAY, WAY better served by having Sport mode over say eco...or several others. You have to drive the thing to the trails. I want Rock crawl first, Mud/Ruts second / Sport third by a big margin, as those are the three that would be most usable for me. and I don't want to give any of those up.
