We are looking at a loaded wild track with the 2.7/10 speed, Lux, Leather, Tow, hardtop, and Sasquatch. A Carmax car with 3,000 miles. In route, but it looks brand new from the pictures. What do you think of a $66,998 price? Seems high to me, but you know how Carmax works - deal or no deal.

Window sticker says nothing about HOSS. Just says mid and Sasquatch packages on window sticker. 35" tires, etc.

Hoss 3.0 (Fox shocks and stronger steering rack) came out mid My22 (it was an option). I believe in My22 if you optioned it, it was on the window sticker (also the little trim sticker was different. If it has the plastic bumper, it didn't come with Hoss 3.0.

Our 23 was about the same price new (MSRP). It was fully loaded plus trail armor , bug deflector, console safe and roof rack.

Hoss 2.0 would be a deal breaker for me, otherwise if the color was what I wanted I wouldn't be opposed to it.

Carmax used to have short return window so you could have it checked out by yourself and mechanic if you liked. Don't know if they still do that.

Sounds way overpriced. What was the MSRP new?

$59,525, with all the price increases I don't know what to think about MSRP these days. Kbb fair market is $63,600 - $66,600. My struggle is if I can order one versus buying this one I can get 2 more years of warranty coverage. I am in no hurry, but the negative is how long it takes to get one versus bird in the hand.

Personally, I would never consider paying that much. Especially if it doesn't have Hoss 3.0, But at the end of the day it's up to you 🤷‍♂️

That's too much, even with HOSS 3.0. I saw a 2022 Badlands in Jacksboro that was very similar, wanted more than a new one and all it has was rock sliders and extra lights.

I will say since it's a WT, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) Ford will replace the steering and keep it under warranty, since it has the programming for WT's. However, that's another $2-3k on top of what you pay if it doesn't have it already. I wouldn't count not having it a dealbreaker if you're ok replacing it or don't need it, but it should be priced accordingly.

For $67k it needs to have HOSS 3.0 - otherwise forget it

What's the Blend date on the window sticker ?

Maybe send the VIN to @Ducati1098 - he can tell you if it has HOSS 3.0
Yeah it was built 1/24/2022, so no Hoss 3.0 unfortunately.
