2022 Tacoma Trail

I like the looks of the Tacomas- high, aggressive stance with a lot of ground clearance. I test drive one (A TRD) before I bought my current Silverado. It drove nice, seemed to be very capable although was not comfortable for me. The steering did not telescope enough outward enough. I could get comfortable where my legs and feet were positioned although I would be too far from the steering wheel. The telescoping range seems to be very little. I have long legs so adequate amount of telescoping is important to me. When I test drove an F150 I could get comfortable- there was plenty of telescoping adjustment. Hoping the Bronco is the same.

Seriously they have been talking about new models for about 5 years.

And we've been waiting on this Bronco for longer.

I just hope I get enough info about the TNGA-F platform for the Tacoma before I make a decision.

I just sold my beloved 2nd Gen a few weeks ago. I have several buddies with 3rd gens and I’ve never been satisfied with them. I’ve wanted to fall in love with another new Toyota for years, but no luck. Also, that tennis ball citrus yellow is atrocious.

So Bronco it is! Second day 7AM reservation....not that this really matters anymore.

2D, BadSquatch, MIC, tow pack. It will be a long road.

Yeah, I think we’re hosed for 21 for sure.

If all first editions are slated for the 21MY I wonder how many of them are 2D’s. One good thing is that Ford will build several thousand Broncos before they finally get around to ours. Let’s hope a little practice is a good thing.

I was holding out on a new 4runner back in 2017. At that point I figured the truck was 8 years old and was due for a major update. Then the announcement came out about the Bronco and I shifted course. Here we are in 2021/22 and still no word on a new 4runner/Taco. They just keep milking it with new special editions and colors.

Oh man same here except starting in 2018. I didn't really need a new car but the wife did so we started looking around and I was close to getting a 4Runner but I was also waiting to hear about an update. Then I heard about the Bronco and dropped those plans. I'd be cross shopping that model right now if was coming out anytime soon

What constitutes competition? There's plenty of other Tacoma and truck threads still in the Competition forum.
