2023 MIC/Sound Deadening - should I have received it on my Bronco?

Hi all-

I just got a 2023 Badlands 4D with the MIC. It did not come with the sound deadening. Looking at the Bronco build page there seems to be some conflicting info. When you add the MIC, the sound deadening changes to “Included”. On the MIC information page (pasted below), the first statement says it should be included, the second says it’s no cost option.

For clarity, the sound deadening is not noted on my window sticker.

My question is, should it have been included or not? I’ve asked my dealer and they are just shrugging their shoulders.

It is a free option that you can add or delete.

If I go into the builder for a 4-door Badlands, and click MIC, sound deadening headliner is not selected by default.

I believe it's a free option but you have to select it to get it.

I recall for a time it was included automatically. But maybe that changed? Actually I'm hoping my build does not include the sound deadening material. Has anyone tried to remove it, hopefully the glue or whatever can be removed without too much effort.

You can get it off, but it will leave behind a mess. If you dont want it much better to have your dealer not check that box, thats why its free but still an option.

Mine is stated on my build sheet as a separate line item. Getting my two door in March so we shall see. If it’s not included I’ll for sure say something.

It was free and automatically added on all trims EXCEPT Black Diamond and Badlands, since those trims come with the wash-out interior standard.

You could still get it on Black Diamond and Badlands, but you had to specifically ask your dealer to add it to your order.

If you got the leather interior, it should’ve been automatically included.

If you got the washout interior, I believe you had to request for it to be added.
