3.0L Catastrophic Engine Failure?

How many 3.0L Bronco Raptors have experienced the catastrophic engine failure? I’m hearing people on Facebook mention their 2022 models experienced it and received an entirely new replacement engine. Sounds pretty serious.

I personally own a 2022 (Built October ‘22). Are there ways to check under the hood to see if it may be one of the engines that experiences issues?

They will probably announce specific production periods that could potentially be affected but at this point just drive the damn thing and don't worry about it. That is what a warranty is for.

Even if yours falls in the time period there is no guarantee that it will have any issues. There are2.7s that fell smack in the middle of the initial issue motors that are still going fine and that was well over a year ago.
