It’s like TV’s sold by class, not actual size. 50 inch class might be 48.5. Let’s hope it doesn’t make it to other items such as those in grocery store. Steak is in the 1lb class. But you get 11oz.

You will notice after you have been at this for a while that very few tires are actually true to size. Even more so that a tire under load is going to be a half inch or so shorter than advertised. I have BFG KM 3 37's and they are at best 36.3 under load. I had Gladiator Xcomp 37's on my JK and they have been the only true to size under load tire I have ever owned.
