Dealer just sent pic with my truck at dealer, swapped the factory tires with 33” KO2’s (nitto grapplers are all on back order), I haven’t driven it yet so can’t attest to rubbing etc, but dealer said fit no problem….

So you asked the dealer to equip with those tires and they kept the Duelers? Did you buy the tires elsewhere? thanks

Nope, they ordered them and installed them for me as an aftermarket per my request and gave me credit for the factory tires

Thanks, MoabRox. I ordered these today!
Cool. Great tire. I run 285/70R17s (E load) on my Suburban 2500. They’re my 3rd choice for the Bronco. I want a more aggressive tire.

Update on 33” inch, zero rub issue, truck drove great, very smooth ride, really surprised how smooth actually, tires are bigger than I thought, I’m 6’ and have to slide out of the truck, def will get combo rock rail slider bars of some type for wife to step down…once again two rivers Ford in Nashville was outstanding on getting me what I wanted and out the door quick, got credit for factory tires, tinted my front windows, blown away when I first saw my truck, 2.7 is quick too and I’m coming off a Ram 1500 sport with a hemi with exhaust upgrade and headers so was impressed….love the K02’s so far and drove close to 300 miles on em today thru sun and rain…..
When I’ve asked my dealership, they said they had to deliver what’s on the window spec sheet. Did you have to coerce them? Did they give a fair credit for the factory tires?

Ooohh....Glad to see the 33s are working for you. They look great! I may not need to Squatch my BD after all. Keep the steelies and wrap 'em in some 33s.

Just curious, what are your other choices of tires you are looking at? I am still caught between a couple. More aggressive?

Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts and Toyo Open Country AT3s.

The Baja Boss are available in a LT33x12.50 D load. They won’t fit on the stock 17x7.5 wheels—8.5 is the minimum width. They would also most likely require a wheel with a +30mm or +35mm offset to prevent the tires from rubbing on the upper arm. I already bought 17x8.5 +35mm wheels so these are on option for me.

The AT3s are available in a LT285/70R17 C load. They are the same size as the KO2s and Ridge Grapplers discussed in this thread. So, they should fit on the stock wheels.

More aggressive, to me, means more wider space between the blocks so they perform better in mud. I don’t see a lot of mud here in Utah, but enough to where I need a tire that won’t hold the mud.. I also want a tire that performs well on snowy, icy roads. Both the Baja Boss and AT3s are “Three Peak” rated, the Ridge Grappler is only M+S rated.

EDIT: OMH, “more wider”? It was early. How about more space between the tread blocks, especially the outside blocks.

They didn’t question the tire swap request at all, said no problem, prob around 60% credit back on factory tires, I’m not sure how much those factories retail for….

You gotta update your profile pic with your actual Bronco now! Love the raised white letters.

That sounds like a semantic issues. Maybe yoy have to "take delivery," but the moment you sign, it's yours and they are just an aftermarket vendor.

I just did the same as OP with the same build. I ordered 5 Toyo ATIII's and they are giving me 75% for the takeoffs.

So is everyone just planning on having the speedometer slightly off for a while and then getting it adjusted when they can? Or just leaving it slightly off?

I’ll run a gps Speedo and compare to my dash today, can’t imagine there will be a noticeable difference with less than an inch more on tires

Update: Within 1 mph of dash and gps
