I just ordered 315 BFG KO2’s and hoping to put them on my optional Badlands wheels. I have read all the theoreticals and reports of minor rubbing at full cramp
. does anyone have any pics thst have mounted 315’s/35’s on the BL wheels? (i would hate to have to buy wheels)

Likely your best option.... but the rims should not have any issues mounting and running 35's.
Im looking at this same tire myself but plan to do a small lift. Not sure which lift yet. Badlands no sas.

OK- here is the skinny-

315 BFG’s fit and just kiss the upper control arm at full lock. You will need to trim the rubber bumpers (about an inch) on the tailgate to get the spare to fit without modifying the carrier. I tried the Sasquatch flares, but the tires don’t have enough offset to poke enough so i left the standard flares on.

Those look great. I kind of wish I had ponied up for the optional wheels on the badlands. Do we know if these have the same dims as the non-beadlock wheels that come standard on badlands?

Thanks for posting. Looks really good. Considering the same swap because I do like the wheels. These are 12.5" wide correct? Would a 1" level in the front prevent the slight full lock rubbing or is it a width issue?

Is this the exact product you bought (class C)? https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/bf-goodrich-lt315-70r17-tire-all-terrain-t-a-ko2-07361/_/R-BDKZ-07361

I don’t think a level will help, it is an offset issue so spacers are probably the only option.

They are the load range C. I’m running them at 35psi and the ride is really good.

QQ. Can I keep standard BL wheels and put BFG 315? As I understand I need to remove crash bars, and ideally add some lift + spaces. Right?

And do you have standard flares? Do you have pictures from the from?

My bronco is being built this week and I have a 2in level/lift coming (2in front, 1 in rear).
Adding 315/70/17 to stock Black Diamond wheels. I should be find with that level/lift.
If I understand there may be a slight kiss with the sway bar? I am not huge on spacers but would a small spacer of like 1/2 in fix that kiss?

Does anyone know what the width of the optional, not Sasquatch badlands rims is? 17x9?

On Friday I had Sasquatch rims and 35" Toyo A/T III's (315/70R17) and a 2" Zone lift installed on my Big Bend. I asked the installer to remove the crash bars but he said he couldn't because they are a safety feature. There is slight rub if I turn the wheels all the way. I could just remove them, but I was looking for tapered crash bars that would accommodate the 35" tires and came across these from 4 Wheel Parts. 4WP says they will fit with my tires and not rub. Has anyone tried them?

Not a prob on mine 35s with ++55 offset..very slight rub on sway bar at full turn..prob not if your a crawler or aggressive off road...
For the uninitiated - that’s typically referred to as ‘they don’t/won’t fit b/c they rub my sway bar at full turn’. Insurance adjusters love when the vehicle’s critical systems (steering) have been compromised. So that would apply to anytime the vehicle is in motion. So called road worthiness. And yes, wheel choice is such an easy and obvious part of the vehicle to target to deny coverage. Some will even have trouble with tire choice away from stock, but if you can prove the tire doesn’t impact the vehicle in any condition - then they’ll let it go. I’ve had 2 incidents that this was an issue - fortunately there was no wear on vehicle and I proved lack of impingement - the line in adjustment was - oversized tire choice has compromised road worthiness and is the basis for denying coverage for . . . Including leaving me liable for other vehicle. By accident (pardon pun) my tires were overrated as that was the next thing regarding compromised stopping. Crafty folks. I run 33’s on a stock outer banks and have video of wheel clearance on file.
