Iā€™ve got you beat. 5,100 miles. Who had had their first service done? Manual shows 10k, but Iā€™m taking mine in next week. No issues at all after I got the a/c recirculation door motor replaced which was defective from the factory. All smiles. šŸ˜€

I'm gonna turn to 6k this week now. Anyone had any repairs? Mine went in for its first oil change and tire rotation and they noticed the drain plug didn't seem to twist out(2.7). The pan has 2 little tabs inside the drain portion of the pan and mine didn't exist. i got lucky it didn't come out or it would be boom goes the dynamite for the engine. 100% covered under warranty. Woulda been $1900 if not. Other than that odd ball issue its been flawless. Ive been busy with the appearance stuff still. Gloss black wildtrak grille(i have a badlands) with carbonized grey letters, gloss black outerbanks fender flares, gloss black mirror caps and door handles too

That's interesting about your oil plug. I changed my oil yesterday (2.7) but no issues with the plug and everything looked good.

If you don't mind my asking, how much was the new grill? I like that look and am considering it...

It's one of the aftermarket ones. Fits and looks just like the stock one. Was about $320. The OEM ones don't come painted from Ford so cost + paint = expensive

Positives - Iā€™m at about 5,500. Havenā€™t gone through a tank of gas the last 3 weeks. Was going to to schedule service for early next week maybe. I had the bad A/C recirculation door motor from the factory. That was replaced after two trips to the dealer. They ordered what there parts schema showed and it wasnā€™t the right part. Tech took out the old one, gave them a part # off it and zip tied my recirculation door until the new one came in about a week later. Otherwise been perfect and the 2.3 has been spot on. Averaging right at 20 mixed driving on 33ā€ Terra Grapps. My oil life shows 49% and the online manual shows 10k as first service but Iā€™m not waiting that long.

Negatives - Not much. Nit picky, I have noticed hood float (I have adjusted bumpers) and the soft top fabric does stretch and loosen a tad after several ups and downs.

Broncoā€™s on the road - Know of about 15-20 in my local area of about 100k in South Alabama. I was on a trip in Central Florida a couple weeks ago on the wifeā€™s Murano and had a guy park next to me at a rest area off I75 that had my OBX with a hard top. Not sure what interior color he had. He still had everything in stock form. Was kinda wishing I was on mine when he rolled upā€¦šŸ˜‚

Upgrades - Coletrain, I like the gloss black and the painted flares. I donā€™t think they will get chalky over time like black plastic. One thing that drew me to the OBX, that and the interior color options I wanted. New upgrades I am thinking of adding the new 2.5ā€ Ford Bilsten Coilovers over the winter. Best upgrade I have made #1 sound system, fantastic and #2 is the IAG rear top lift struts.
