Everyone that is pissed, please cancel so I can move closer to a build date. We knew this was going to happen. Did everyone think it was going to be fantastic news? At least they let us know they don’t have a build date for us.

Probably won’t do much good since it’ll be hard tops canceling

Just had a talk with a GM of my dealer and he was talking about how supply chain issues are all over the auto industry right now - mentioned his lot normally has 400 new cars on it, right now they have 90.

That was an interesting comment enough to make me to check out my dealership:
31 New models on the lot - and 21 are F-series. Used lot is 170 total, with 97 Fords, 58 of which are F-series. 45 are GM truck or SUV, and another 5 Wranglers. The rest are a mix of imports. Even their commercial lot is slim with only 4 vehicles. only four.

But hey, its an opportunity to repave/refresh lots. Thats what my dealership is doing.

Having a hard time blaming Webasto at this point, more so Ford knowing about the issue for months and not correcting it being one of the largest American companies out there. They eventually need to take ownership of the situation instead of blaming everything else under the sun. At this point I'll accept it'll be another 6+ months at a minimum before I get my day 2 order.

Hopefully it doesn’t mean anything. I’ve gotten all others but not this one for some strange reason and it wasn’t in the Spam folder either so I don’t know why that is.

I think realistically everyone needs to adjust their expectations. I work in the automotive industry at the corporate level and things are currently a giant mess for nearly every single company. Everyone is having issues getting parts to build cars and there are mass constraints on numerous items that affect everyone.

Realistically you should expect to keep hearing the same messaging for the remainder of the summer and likely into the end of the year. These problems are going to take months to go away fully. While some things may improve, others may get worse. If that doesn't work for your timeline to get a Bronco then you have to make some decisions regarding what you are going to do next.

Basically you either wait it out or you cancel. Ford would love to sell every Bronco they can get out the door. They do prefer to make money.

Have a beer, give a big sigh and go find something else to do. We'll leave the light on for ya...

Only thing this tells me is that Jeep executives are throwing a big Memorial Day weekend party …. and laughing about it. I already know a couple of people who have moved on. Not me!! My cut off point is 24MY

Based on the emails I've received about building a bronco after I've already ordered one, it means the marketing department is terrible and probably has little idea on what to send to who.
