Black Bronco Raptor Delivery Day & First Impressions

I clear wrapped the hood and front fenders and had the entire vehicle ceramic coated. $1500. I may clear wrap more of the vehicle later. Thanks for the recommendations in that regard.

Traded in my 2019 F150 Limited.

First impressions include great ride and better than my 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S (which is not bad). Ride not quite as good as F150 (high bar).

Fantastic exhaust note.

Will haul a**. Better than F150 limited (3.5 SHO). Comparable to my former 2013 base Corvette (6.2 LS3). I am using my calibrated rear end so opinions to the contrary are understandable and bear in mind delivery emotions are running high.

Worth the wait for Raptor.

Congrats! BTW .. everything being equal, a longer wheelbase will always have a better ride.

I may have to do the ceramic coating. Picked up my Shadow Black BRaptor with LUX package this past Saturday. My brother I drove back from WV to Chapel Hill, NC. The ride was much smoother than I expected. My brother has a Jeep Grand Cherokee and said the ride was roughly the same, although there is more cabin noise.

I think the BRaptor is drop-dead gorgeous in black.

Nice looking truck… remember don’t get your hardtop wet! It’s like a gremlin it will turn into gizmo! I’m opening a Coast to Coast drive-thru MIC dry cleaning service.

I would highly recommend ceramic coating, have done it on all my black cars. It makes washing anything off the car super easy. Full Xpel and ceramic coated.

I’m looking for interior plastic protection recommendations also. The cheesy plastic scratches easy and the embedded dirt is impossible to get out.

I will also be ceramic coating and was thinking a clear bra type ppf on the front but I like your approach with the front end. I will look into that.

Picked up my Braptor last week. I can't say enough about this vehicle! It's easily the most impressive factory off roader perhaps ever. I'm a jeep lover but this is on a whole other level. Nothing in jeeps current line up compares and that includes the 392. Amazing on road performance and ride. My 2013 F150 with the 3.5 doesn't come close to the ride. Won't give up my jeeps but the Braptor is what I look forward to driving.

I just started a post last night about PPF…if you want to truly protect your Raptor, PPF is a must!

SunTek (and my local guy David @ Area 41) have almost completed the “pattern” for a PPF option for the Bronco Raptor.

David started with excellent custom work and then called his friends at SunTek so they are collaborating a PPF option for all Bronco Raptors now and the ones to come. This product should be ready for purchase by the end of the week.

Cool ride, but im wtg for a Ranger Raptor. Need the bed. Have my FE, so it will suffice as my bronco fix. Prefer a truck Raptor.

But your vehicle is way cool!!!
