I decided that I wanted to run a Warn 8274 winch for the nostalgic look. Problem is there is not any good bumper options out there.

I built front and rear bumpers. They are not finished but got them done enough for my Windrock trip back at the First of the month.

I was thinking about dimpled sheet metal to hide the frame and tie in with my rock skis(I built also)

This was my first time building tube bumpers.

Tube is 1.75 DOM .120 wall

Nice. Do you have a mandrel bender or did you have to buy prebent pipe?

Dude you could SELL those! I’m gathering tube bumper options I like and this ticks the boxes minus 1-2 sets of fog lights

very, VERY well done!

got any other photos of the rear bumper?

btw with the high winch mount you’ll want to reinforce the frame horns - I went with these beefy units: https://td-distributing.myshopify.c...rts-21-23-bronco-frame-horn-reinforcement-kit
Here are a few more of the rear.

Look closer at the front bumper. It ties in under the frame. I promise you it's not moving.

I have a JD2 model 32 bender.
Used BendTech software to mock everything up before I started wasting tube(not pipe).

Nice work. I love the look of tube bumpers. Off topic, but are your fender flares the steel ones from Ford? Do they give more tire clearance than the Sasquatch flares?

They are actually a cheap set off Amazon that are actually well made. They do give a little more clearance at the outer edges. The front fenders have been modified and the flares moved up to clear the 40s.

I took 1.25" off the outer lip the week before Windrock because of fear of damage to the fenders if they got hung up off road. Which I did have one time that one did touch. These flares are tough but trees are tougher.

Lol, I used the same intercooler mount area idea to beef up my bumper.
I figured if Ford uses that area for the tow hook on the plastic bumpers then it should be plenty stout.

Looks great, always like a good tube bumper. Wish I hadn't sold my bender years ago thinking I'd never use it again.

@RC Bronco Do these come as a set or are they sold individually? I was planning on buying some, but it wasn't clear on their website. Thanks!
