It all depends on what you plan to use it for. Daily driving? The above is probably just fine. Plan to visit the Rubicon frequently? Probably go Squatchin.

I'm in FL so its mostly muddy dirt roads and the beach ... no rock crawling at all ... but dam those 35s look good ?

Man I debate this daily. I love the ulitarian looks of the steelies, if I knew what the 2 in factory lift would do for the BD I would for sure skip the squatch

Until yesterday I was on Cactus gray even though I've never seen it. Then yesterday I was on velocity blue until I went and saw one and it didn't really Rock My Boat that much. Earlier today I was on Race red that looks so awesomely cool. But now I really dig that A51 again LOL.

Until yesterday I was on Cactus gray even though I've never seen it. Then yesterday I was on velocity blue until I went and saw one and it didn't really Rock My Boat that much. Earlier today I was on Race red that looks so awesomely cool. But now I really dig that A51 again LOL.

All good choices ... I have to see Cactus Gray live before I make my desicion... ??‍

only colors I have ruled completely out are black, rapid Red, iconic silver...

Th 17” steelies are 7.5” wide...

...making them narrower than the published typical minimum width for 35” tires.

(35s usually advertise minimum 8” wheel width)

Glad you posted this. I've been thinking of getting a Black Diamond with steelies and putting the 33" KO2 tires on it. Looks like I'll have to get different rims to have the KO2s (that's what I have on my wrangler and I love them)

Check the specs, but 33s (285) should probably be okay. Ive seen them spec’d 7.5”-8.5” rim range. (Depending on make model of tire)

My plan is to get a BL and swap out for the black steelies with 33s on them.

Also, it always comes down to what actually works and what your tire shop is willing to do.
