Accessory Pre-Orders as Separate Process from Build & Price Tool

Hi all -

Visited my local Ford dealer in Northern California to pick up an official Bronco brochure and meet the dealership "buyer" this past weekend. I was informed by him that he had a call this past week about a process for pre-order holders to buy accessories through the dealer from that 200+ item catalog previously rumored about in countless threads here, a process which will be conducted separately from the build & price function of the website/ordering system. He said that Ford wants people to be able to order aftermarket parts and have them arrive with their Broncos so that the dealers can install the parts before folks leave the lot.

There's not much information available aside from that, but figured I'd post here for awareness. I'll also upload the brochure pages once I scan them in. I found the descriptions of the different trims (particularly the First Edition) to conflict with some of the info we've already gotten (including navy pier interior info!). I'll let the community dissect...

Sorry, all... I meant that catalog that has been discussed in threads countless times here.... haven't actually seen the list be published yet. There's been several posts citing word that there's gonna be a catalog. My dealer confirmed same to me when speaking with him.

I was told by Ford that some of the 200+ accessories will be able to be ordered with the vehicle and tacked onto the MSRP. For some of the items, the dealer can just put them in your cargo area and you can put them on later. Others, they can install.

If at all possible, Ford will put those accessories in the Build & Price, and they will make it to the window sticker, and into your MSRP. This boosts MSRPs and gets owners what they want.

Look at the Ranger Build & Price right now. There are over 50 accessory items you can add to your Ranger Build & Price. If there are 200+ Bronco accessories, you better believe they are adding them to the order if at all possible.

Damn. I had set a budget for the bronco, but I have a feeling these accessories are about to blow that out of the water. Time to pick up a few shifts at work.
