Having followed this thread for a bit, I think ADV should design an improved soft top that adds more storage capacity. Kind of like this:

No. These things guarantee someone is dying of dysentery along the way.
Those pizza cutters, tho.
Looks like they could climb a riverbank or two.

The weight will be comparable to the OEM MOD top.
I am sorry for not being clear. What I was asking is if the rooftop load carry capacity will go up. Will the 1 pc support a heavier tent/roof box?

Thank you very much for the response though,

Looking forward to seeing all of the finished products!

One piece most likely, depends on the weight.
Must have defrost, washer and wiper that plug in to the factory ports.

Today is the big day that we fully reveal the exterior of the tops that we will be offering. Yes we said TOPS, meaning more than one. We will be offering two different styled tops (Both will be slanted). One being modular and the other being a one-piece top. You may be asking, why offer both? We have listened to what you have been asking for and we have came through for the Bronco market as a whole.

Before you start asking “Why is the modular top less pieces than the factory top”. The simple answer is that ours will provide a quieter ride, lower chance of leaking, and overall better fit and finish.

Each top will be offered in three levels of finish:
  1. Black UV Textured
  2. White UV Textured
  3. High Build Primer for a body shop to paint match the top

Answers to some of last weeks questions:
  1. Is the rear glass curved?
    1. Yes it is.
  2. Are the side windows glued in?
    1. Yes, they are glued in.
  3. Can the rear window be opened WITHOUT having to open the tailgate?
    1. No, the tailgate will need to be opened.
  4. Will we reuse factory roof rails?
    1. Yes, our tops will have built in mounts to reuse factory or aftermarket roof rails.

We are curious which top you are more interested in? Modular or One-Piece?

Exciting and interesting news! Interested in one-piece. Like others have stated: Rear defrost? Rear wiper? Plug and play for these if your Bronco does not have the Hard Top prep kit.

Tough decision, but probably modular top for me. I definitely want to see that actual top on a Bronco prior to making my decision however.

For those inquiring about two door. I emailed AFC months ago before switching to soft top. AFC’s plan for some time has been to produce the four door first and have been targeting first qtr this year. Makes sense for them with the amount of four door soft tops out there compared to 0 soft top two doors

They did say a two door top will be offered but didn’t say when.

Love after market companies like this taking the risk and stepping up to fill gap.
1). Who's AFC?

2). Every business invests capitol.

3). Glad you understand, ADV could still screw this up if they get a over zealous and price their tops too high.
ADV also known as Advance Fiberglass Concepts. And yes, I agree, pricing is important.

lay off the dope

Read the entire thread Cheech. You're making yourself look like an idiot....again. I responded to posts about possible two-door top before OP replied to a single one to try to be helpful. As mentioned, when I corresponded with them by email months ago they mentioned two door later possibly. I did that here...on B6G. Not your cess pool social media sites you choose participate in. Be a dick there....not here.

Love you know it all's that jump in 12 pages in just to embarrass yourselves.

Modular

My questions are:

Is this quieter than the factory top?

I am awaiting a MIC from the factory. If I switch to a soft top will yours effectively replace the factory MIC?
