Kinda like how the 2.7 engine option is $1895. But you also have to trade in your brand new 2.3 in addition to the $1895. If you could buy the 2.7 complete from the parts counter, it would cost you significantly more!

Whatever the justification is doesn't justify 6 grand. That's way overpriced and people shouldn't pay it. Something like this should be no more than $3500.

When i ordered mine it was September ;(

I get it supply chain issues. I’m debating switching to single piece instead of modular but not sure if I’d lose my spot in line. If there’s further delays I’m guessing modular will be hit the hardest since it was originally a longer wait.

A few issues holding me up.

1. I'm still waiting for my badsquatch to be scheduled.

2. I do prefer the oem hardtop ability to remove the 2 front, middle passenger and rear sections all separately. I do think this was a miss by ADV not to retain that functionality. It's going to be a tough decision on me because of that alone. Everything else about the ADV hardtop is superior to the oem as far as quality, the black color, the top ridges, the slant back and just overall look.

Nobody is forcing you to buy it, just go buy the $3500 one when it's available and be happy.

All production units come standard with defroster. Our prototype did not have it.

@ADV Fiberglass is this a single layer fiberglass layup or are you using sandwich/composite double layer layup?

Looks nice. Will be very interested in the decibel comparison as that (and Cleveland snow) will be the reason driving a potential purchase.

One question/potential issue: rear view visibility is already compromised secondary to the spare. The superiorly mounted wiper seems clever, but does it further impact visibility?
