The reasons why I like Black Diamond over Outer Banks
* $2905 difference from BD to OB 4 door
* Interior floor, marine vinyl seats and power switches
* Steel bumpers, steel rims, rock rails and bash plates, not to mention an extra GOAT
The reasons that might persuade me to go with OB
Even though there's a savings of $2905 from BD to OB, it would cost me $3200 under BD to get the automatic tranny, and mid package, which are already included on OB, so that would save me $300. Also, I'll be able to get the high package for $1200, which is not offered in BD, but I'm willing to forego it. I still want the 2.7 engine, which will cost me $1900 with OB.
$1500 - mid package
$1600 - automatic
**Price difference between the vehicles with the same engine, tranny and mid package
OB $43,050
BD $43,545
Based on above price differences, the difference is $495. So if I planned to disregard the high package option, BD has more to offer than OB if you keep high and lux package out of the equation.
How about you guys?
