I’m 31 with a baby, a dog, and plans to have one more child. With a decade of car seats in my future a 2 door just isn’t practical even though it’s the one I’d prefer. If they’re still making them in the 7th gen I’ll buy one when the kids don’t need car seats and can climb in back themselves.
I have wonderful memories of sliding open the minivan door and seeing two beautiful little faces smiling and ready for another encounter at whatever event we were at. Can't ever get that back, but yeah, hauling kids out of car sets in a 2 door. No thank you.

My wife and I are mid 40's. I had an 86' bronco 2 that I'm killing myself for ever giving up. The 2 door has that same feel, and it's pretty damn awesome.

4 door
35 years old
Two kids

Reasons:

1A.) Ease of access to the back seat
1B.) Trunk space for camping, fishing, etc
1C.) 4 door looks far more impressive, expensive, and imposing
1D.) Longer range Gas Tank
1E.) Other than kids I do occasionally have friends and other family as passengers. The two door is completely impractical and useless for that.

These are all extremely important features to me.

So I’m kind of curious, I’ve been reading this forum for, I don’t know, two or three months, and I’m really surprised there isn’t more 2-Door purchasers.
so I’m just wondering what AGE is of most people buying a
2 door and a 4 -door,
because I think it’s a generational thing now.

When I was a kid you were your father or grandfather if you were driving a four-door. same with my dad! Of course I grew up in a HotRod Family (30’-50’s Cars)
So I was always told that 2 doors is what you want.

Maybe I was brainwashed, or a product of my time, but I always thought the 2 Doors look way better than 4 doors
(as far as proportions and everything)
and all those extra posts and windows!
Especially the vehicle like a Bronco because of the short wheelbase. You have to jack up a four-door way higher in order to have the same clearance.

biggest thing for me is I have the mindset of

2-door Means Freedom
4-Door means Baggage

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that young folks nowadays wanna include their family on a lot of stuff, but I still think Guys need to have their OWN freedom sometimes, and “Girls”Too I guess!!!

So mostly this is just out of curiosity

I’m 52 and I love2doors
What did tou order and how old are you?
Thanks Rick
4 door for the extra room. 58 when ordered. Will be well into my sixties when I receive!

In my 40’s, have 3 kids, and ordered the 2 door. For me, I love the 1st gen Broncos and the 2 door resembles them the most. The four door with the soft top looks like a child someone had with their sister.

51 and 4 door.

I'm about to be an empty nester, so not worried about carrying kids. For me, it was the following reasons:
- I might do some overlanding, so need the extra space.
- If I want to remove the doors, I can haul all four in the 4 door (or 2 doors + 2 roof panels)
- I occasionally might want to haul stuff from the home improvement store, Costco, or carry golf clubs, etc.
- I might on occasion want to load up some passengers in the back.
- My dachshund doesn't take up too much room, but the extra space will be handy if I have to carry around my daughter's 80-lbs. lab mix.
- The 4 door has a greater fuel capacity (20.8 gal. vs 16.9 gal.) so hopefully slightly better range.
- I probably won't be doing any heavy duty rock crawling where I actually need the extra breakover angle that the shorter wheelbase provides.

As far as aesthetics go, I think they both look good.

36, married with a brand new baby girl, and a 2DR owner. For me it isn’t a Bronco with more than 2DRs.

52 2 door. Kids are grown and I don’t lug anything around. Rarely drive friends around, and if I do they can squeeze back there or take their 4 door

40. 4 kids under 9. Because I can’t fit my family in anything but a minivan or large SUV, it doesn’t really matter what I drive as long as my wife’s vehicle can fit us all. So I ordered what I want, a 2 door.

27 & 4 doors - I really like the proportions of the 4 door. Plus, the additional space is definitely a bonus as well. I've only ever owned 2-door coupes, so the thought of having 4 doors really excites me
