Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

Waiting for the used market in a year or two, but currently 30-ish and want a 4-door to accommodate a family in a few years. I think I would get a 4-door regardless to have more space and room to sleep in on adventures, despite thinking the 2-door looks better. Getting a manual regardless

64 - 2dr, just me and the wife. I'm with Village Idiot, thinking about removing the rear seats with the Goose Gear rear seat delete.

4dr is more practical but the 2dr is just more clean, like the original.

In the defense of the 4door crowd, I forgot about all the stupid laws and childseat crap!
When I was a kid we just got thrown in the back, didn’t matter if it even had seats! We survived!

I have a kid who's 11 and still legally needs a booster seat because of his weight... it's ridiculous. I used to sit on my dads lap and steer his truck. It would definitely be a pain in the ass with a 2 door and taking child restraints in and out.

I think the 2 Door simply looks better, I grew up with 2 door Broncos and CJ's and 4 doors just don't look right to me.

4 Door, 35 years old, wife and two kids with one due in February. I would have gotten a 4 door regardless. The two door would just be too small.

Age: 37. Reason I got a 4 Dr is I have 2 young boys and it's easier to get them in back and I like the look of the 4 dr.

29 and 2 door for multiple reasons -

i rarely have more than 1 person in my car, and I personally dont think the 4 door resembles the bronco i fell in love with (60's version) as its too long, and the 2 door to me is a modern copy of it.

I am getting a 2 door. My kids are 5 and 9. They can buckle themselves in to their boosters. We have driven a 2 door at Granger extensively and practiced sliding the front seat forward and climbing in on their own. They can handle it no problem. Just like I did when I was a kid in my parents 2 door. Yeah, the 4 door would be more practical. But for us the 2 door is way more fun, looks better (all my own opinion-you are allowed to have a different one) and will completely suffice for our own needs. Everyone’s needs and taste will vary. But if you are digging the 2 door do not be afraid to give it some serious consideration.

@Seanette and I have no children. What I do have is a lot of tools that I need to take with me to and from construction sites.

The four-door has more space that I can use for cargo, and easier access to part of that space.

I wanted something as close to the Original Bronco as possible, so the 4 Door wasn't even a consideration. From there, I fell in love with the Black Diamond trim (simple grille/lights, steelies, wash-out interior, etc).
