Howdy, my old MasterFlow compressor recently went out and found a new portable compressor kit from Vevor with a nice Father's Day sale going on:

Under $50 bucks pretax down from $99 and should be at my house this afternoon when I get off work. Comes with a 20ft hose and should do the trick for me. I've ordered a few other items from Vevor like an electric motor for a shop fan and have been impressed with product quality at the price they offer so far.
Old post, I know. I am currently looking for a good air compressor at a good price to take with me on a trip to the Outer Banks later this year, and I came across your post. I don't have huge offroad tires on my Bronco (265/70 R17 BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A) and I don't take it offroad so I don't need a four-hose setup. Do you still have the Vevor air compressor and if you do how well has it held up for you? Thanks in advance.

Good day, yes I still have the Vevor air compressor and it's been working fine for me. I carry it in the vehicle most everywhere. It's still in the cheap fabric case it came in with a couple tears. The plastic handle had a crack develop, but I just wrapped it with electrical tape and it's holding up fine. My cousin was impressed at how quickly it filled the flat tire on his 4 runner. Had considered mounting it permanently near the subwoofer, but haven't had the time or willpower to look into that option more yet.

I've been using basically the same compressor (Smittybuilt) for around 5 years and have never had any issues. I have modded the unit to use standard HF couplers and added a pressure switch for convenience. I have also considered mounting it, but still prefer having it loose, but do have a high current power line running to the rear with Anderson plugs, so I don't have to open the hood and attach the compressor using the provided alligator clips...sorry, I don't have any pic of the compressor...

I purchased a viair model EVC88P7. Perhaps a little slow to air up, but I am typically a slow, patient person , so works for me. It has auto pressure shut-off altough doesn't seem very accurate. One feature that I like is that it gets power via my 7 prong trailer connector.

I have the one linked below, I’ve had it almost 20 years using it for camping and emergency roadside assistance. It used to be under the name superflow, otherwise it is 100% the same externally even the name plate.
I pulled it out 2 weeks ago to use on my 37 tires taking them from 24psi up to 38.
I was surprised at how quickly it handled the job, one tire at a time but nearly as quickly as the newer smaller twin piston models.

Happy Viair user here. I upgraded the Bronco to an ARB but the Viair is still used for the Jeep.
