Thanks! I saw the YouTube link from your site and was a little intimidated when they were talking about the drilling and tapping to install. What’s the upside of having a pressure switch? This is all new to me.
The pressure switch only allows the compressor to reach 120psi, so less stress on it and longer life.

I have an adapter included to avoid the drilling and tapping, it's just not as factory looking when complete because it's too bulky to fit under the cover.

Is there really a mounting kit?
The only mounting setup for the two-cylinder NAPA that I know of is the ThorsLightning "Refuge," a molle cage (sort of) that mounts over the right-rear wheel well. If you get a store-sourced NAPA, it should probably fit, as they're all pretty much the same machine, varying with circuit features and such. If you don't want to build your own 4-way hose, they can fix you up with the hardwire, a circuitbreaker, hoses, chucks, all that. I have it and recommend them. They're in northern Colorado.

Image is from their website. I keep my hoses, plus things like my repair kits and attachments for inflatables, in their round bag, which I keep wedged between the right rear rollover strut (red, here) and the side window. It stays put, I always have it.

PS: On my ThorsLightning (a NAPA-based) I put a remote shutoff switch on the main power cable, so I can run it till I hit my desired psi. I just sit at the wheel* and watch the pressure on the dashboard, then shut it off at my desired psi. Easy-peasy.

Some of the upper-end NAPAs have auto shutoffs for whatever psi you want to set it at.

*However you're connecting your compressor, remember to keep your motor running until you're all finished! Keep a set of thick gloves--components can run very hot. And they are noisy.

Ah, okay. Thanks for clarifying it for me.

You can buy a J-Type adapter from Amazon or other places. Then you don't have to cannibalize the hose that came with your compressor. I did that because I figured I'd have other uses for the compressor, like inflating camping mattresses, etc. The one I got added $15 to my cost but still put me at about 1/2 the price of buying a pre-made kit vs. DIY. But you can buy the kit and add the $15 adapter if you want to save your hose and don't want to go the pressure switch route.
Thanks! looks like the one you use is out of stock on Amazon, but Morrflate has some on their site.

I wonder how these compressors do living under the hood.
No clue....I saw them and saved the link, but honestly haven't looked into it any more.
