Once the knob is machined, we have it powdercoated. Once there done, we rechuck the knob to machine in the shift pattern and other details. Once that’s done, you’ll have raw aluminum highlights for the shit pattern. You can take it a step further and opt to have the shift pattern color filled for different contrast.

I had a quick question about coloring the letters for the shift knob. When selecting that option, does that

1. just color the shift pattern, or
2. does it include coloring all the silver on the knob and lockout (so like the Reverse lettering on the lockout, and the silver surrounding the archetype racing logo on the side o the chisel knob)?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm 99% sure its (1), but I just wanna make sure before I place my order to know exactly what I'm getting.

Redone17 - I ordered mine Thanksgiving weekend. I emailed them last week, asking for an update. Got this response -

“They are currently in production. We estimated about 8 weeks from the order date when we began offering them. We have several more weeks yet before they will be ready, but we will have them out to you as soon as possible. “

Let’s go for ‘or so’. The knobs are coming off OP-1 now (roughly 200 of them). They’ll still need OP-2, then powdercoat, then re-chucked for OP-3 when the shift pattern gets machined.

Any interest in CHISEL finished in solid colors and minimal post machine work? Looks more traditional/less pop, if that’s your thing. If there’s interest, I’ll add them to the site as “color name” and -SOLID.

I don't believe so. I can run the numbers later today, but I doubt all ~200 are customer builds.

Yes, just add the the option for color fill on the order and the color in your order notes.
