nice. the raptor has a good spot out in the back above the tow brackets. I'd love to see a bracket made there because 1. no heat soak and 2. dont need to pop the hood for air. get on it please!

Yeah - was wondering it the bracket kit will fit in the Raptor (not looking likely), and then thought about this location. But then thought: what happens to it when you submerge it in water or mud though?

I go back and forth on using an upfitter for this. I mean if you have to pop the hood to access the compressor anyway, why not just mount the supplied switch next to the compressor?

you can extend the intake ports with hose fittings.

adding to this, you would be able to run the compressor without key on, since aux needs key to supply power.

You really shouldn’t run the compressor on the battery alone without the engine running. The compressor draws a lot power, and it will quickly drain the battery without the alternator running.

you don’t have to pop the hood. I ran mine to the front bumper.

Very nice and explanatory video. Nice to see that onboard air is getting to be a real option for those that need/want it.
As for me, I don't air down enough to justify the cost of the ARB, so for about $350 I got a Maxi Trac air compressor from NAPA and 4 way inflate/deflate from Mid Atlantic: airs down in a couple of minutes and same on the inflate (after hooking up of course) very happy with it
