All I got to say is saving money on product but spending twice the amount of my time on install equals no savings, unless your time is free. My Rough Country strut kit took all of 15 minutes.

I have had them for a few trips now and I am finding them pretty convenient when airing up. Of course the traditional hood prop is super easy as well but this opens the hood even more and allows you to access the rear firewall much easier, besides it's 2023... LOL For $40 its a solid addition for me. Each to there own of course.

Yeah agree on time = money, but these took me 45 minutes but I was also filming so about the same.

I am not thinking about them because that was one of the first items I bought. I like the extra lift and I am not poor. I have put Redline’s on several Fords.

I’ll be installing my Ford Performance hood struts tomorrow. I’ll post a picture of it when done. I copy and pasted the Ford OE ones off their website for accessories and found them from an EBay ford parts dealer cheaper and free shipping. Same as my “Ford Bronco” fitted floor mats also cheaper on EBay and free shipping.
