Looks like they heard loud and clear that changing the rules mid-game is a BS idea and poor business practice. Hard lesson to learn but I give them credit for not arrogantly digging in theIr heals and f’ing their early adopters.

No win situation for them. Selling a product at a loss is not a viable business plan, inflation is killing your bottom line and you HAVE to pass that cost on to your customers.

This situation is nothing at all like what scumbag Ford dealers are doing to their customers, because their "costs" aren't going up. They're just padding their pockets while taking advantage of a situation.

This is what my brother received this morning, a day after finding out his reservation and order price had been increased $21,000+

No win situation for them. Selling a product at a loss is not a viable business plan, inflation is killing your bottom line and you HAVE to pass that cost on to your customers.

This situation is nothing at all like what scumbag Ford dealers are doing to their customers, because their "costs" aren't going up. They're just padding their pockets while taking advantage of a situation.
Rivian isn’t selling them at a loss regardless of a price increase. Inflation is just an excuse.

Tesla took years to reach profitability. Rivian should be OK unless investors get impatient. Boy, and that’s never happened. 😂

Ford has told us, if you are a pre March 2021 orderer/reservationist that your MSRP holds fast. Ford told us they had MIC production problems and gave the option to switch to a soft top on 4-door models with a hard top prep kit (as asked by Customers). Ford has told us when your Bronco is being produced once you have a VIN. And Ford has told us assembled Broncos are in storage awaiting modules, and an estimated delivery date. Minute details are left out in most cases because those change constantly as affected by supply chain issues.

Rivian sends you an email with a voucher for KY Jelly and a $21K price increase...
I have a Bronco, and communication was not a strong suit of Fords. If you feel differently, with all due respect, you are incorrect sir.
