Auto Start/Stop

Has anyone ever had this happen? I have had the battery replaced but for some reason when I stop and the auto start stop engages and it goes to restart I get this error. I had the battery replaced recently and still having this issue. 2024 Badlands SAS less than 5000 miles.

Did you have the battery replaced by a dealer or yourself? My guess is there's some computer/battery check you gotten perform after a battery replacement.

IMO, I hate auto stop/start.

IMO, I hate auto stop/start.

I hate auto stop/start also - and was always trying to remember to override it every time that I started the Bronco. But I don't have to do so anymore - I noticed a couple of days ago that my Bronco no longer does the auto stop/start - which is a very pleasant surprise for me.

While I hate this "feature" as well, this may be a sign that your battery is on its way out as auto stop/start is one of the first things that no longer works.

You'll rethink that pretty quickly. It means conditions are not right for ASS, which is another way of saying something's wrong with your Bronco.

An easy way to reset the BMS sensor from your driver seat. It’s a quick and easy diagnostic step to try and see if it clears up the error code, maybe save you a trip back to the dealer.

conditions are not right for ASS sounds like my wife most of the time
