Not that big of a deal to turn it off each time you start the vehicle. If you can push a button to start the vehicle, I’m sure you can press one more - it’ll become second nature.
On my test drive Auto Start/Stop was off when I cranked it. I drove around and stopped a ton before realizing it wasn't doing the auto start/stop. Had to re-engage the function before it would cut the engine when I stopped. As others have said, just mashing the clutch cranks the engine - it is really fast and I stopped noticing it pretty quick. ON a trail I would of course turn the function off.

No need to do crazy wiring defeats for this - it will turn off and stay off if you choose. On my manual test drive it was already off when I cranked the engine the first time and stayed off until I turned the function back on later.

I used it on a manual Wrangler and it didn’t bother me in the slightest. It’s just a part of building a car in 2021. Don’t know why so many people here whine about it.
No whining here! I just have not had a car that has this feature. Lol

Gotcha haha. Like others said it’s a bit of an adjustment but overall it was nbd to me. Half the time it won’t click off anyway cause of engine warming up, ac running, internal recirculate, etc.
