Well, yeah, I don't want my Bronco to break when I park it.Assuming you have an Auto trans, why even use a parking break?
The only option would be forscan, but I’m not sure if that’s possible of doing it or not.Is there a way (other than perhaps Forscan) to have the parking brake automatically engage when shifting to park?

Have you ever had difficulty taking one of your A/T cars out of park?Who knew? In 30 years of driving, I’ve never used a parking break on an A/T. Guess I’m lucky none of my cars/trucks have wandered off!
Did you use a parking brake instead?Who knew? In 30 years of driving, I’ve never used a parking break on an A/T. Guess I’m lucky none of my cars/trucks have wandered off!
Back when I was a kid, mom used to have me go start her car (1977 Mercury Cougar XR7) for her to warm it up on cold mornings. One day I had started the car and went back inside, well started to go back inside that is. Before I got all the way to the front door I heard a noise and turned just in time to see her car just finish rolling backwards down the driveway, then across the street and into the neighbors driveway, turn slightly and back into a tree and fence. Despite the gear-shift lever being in park it had engaged reverse (worn parking linkage apparently - it was 16 years old). It had missed the neighbors car by inches and most of the damage was to the fence, the rear bumper barely had a scratch.Guess I’m lucky none of my cars/trucks have wandered off!

Needless to say, I got a hell of a lecture about using the parking brake and had to help fix the fence.
Why do you say that? You must be tons of fun at a party.
Because you’re right and he doesn’t want to admit to it.Why do you say that?
Yep,you've been lucky.Who knew? In 30 years of driving, I’ve never used a parking break on an A/T. Guess I’m lucky none of my cars/trucks have wandered off!
