Same common failure - Driver’s vertical bar failed; 10K miles.

Unfortunately locked-in to the flush tails due to a MFC jerry-can and 90 degree tailgate stopper.

We definitely want to make sure you’re taken care of under the updated policy…..

If you can reach out to [email protected], they’ll pick it up right away and make sure it’s handled correctly under the new coverage.
We will see - I’m not holding my breath as I can’t wait to hear EXACTLY the same excuses as to why the faulty light will not be replaced free of charge.

Even the Oracle AI response knows that we are all wasting our time with them. Did exactly what @OracleLights stated above and the response:

“…..I understand this is not the resolution you were hoping for, and I apologize for any disappointment…….”

So they are extending the warranty to take care of people with issues but not really. Haha!

We definitely want to make sure you’re taken care of under the updated policy. The best next step is to have our support team take a fresh look at your son’s taillight issue with the new two-year warranty in place. They’ll be able to review the situation directly and see what can be done. In most cases we just need some form of purchase or verification so we can properly connect the claim to the product, and they can walk you through all the available options.

If you can reach out to [email protected], they’ll pick it up right away and make sure it’s handled correctly under the new coverage.
Can we get an answer about what is/was causing the issue, and what has been done to newer lights to prevent that same failure we've all had? I'm not yet confident in getting a replacement set, even under warranty, if they'll just fail again prematurely...

Probably not.
Yeah, they emailed me back yesterday to say they are sending me a free replacement at least. I was hoping for a bit more transparency to give me some confidence in putting the replacement back in. I'm undecided about keeping them or just reselling them...

They won't publicly state what was, if at all, "fixed". They just try to placate those that already have the product. I have OEM style LEB replacement bulbs installed in my stock lights. As soon as I have an issue with my set of Oracle's they are going in the trash can.

You could perhaps look at getting replacements under the warranty and then just reselling them at a steep discount. I'd take $300-$300 on the used market vs tossing them in the dump... Might be my next move, actually.

Hope the buyer knows that the warranty is non-transferrable. Really sucks that this is such an issue. There's like what, 6 or 7 people here that have had this issue, but Oracle insists it's isolated. How can we trust that it's isolated when evidence looks otherwise, and we can't even really trust that their internal reporting system is accurately tracking the number of customers calling about the issue. One of their own people even told a member here that there NEVER even was an issue with these lights. Seems like they can't find their butt with two hands over there. Extremely disappointing given how good the lights look aesthetically.

Oh it's way more than that.
Some of us just moved on with the knowledge gained from the expereince on what not to buy in the future.
Good for those of you who benefit from the doubled warranty period, which is surprising and longer than most other aftermarket lighting places.
Double-good for those who have yet to see an issue.
I love the look, love the idea.
Wished it had worked out better.

It is unfortunate that such a great looking product is junk, they know it, and refuse to correct it finding any little excuse as to why. Bad business

Knowing they will eventually fail on the new owner I could not, out of clear conscience, sell them to an unsuspecting buyer.

If I were to sell them, I'd certainly be transparent that these are warranty replacements, no further warranty is available or transferable as it's a used set, it is unknown what updates were or were not done by Oracle to prevent future failure, and that it's a gamble as to how long they'd last. How much they may be worth to another Bronco owner like that remains to be seen...

Welp, my second set of Oracle tail lights is starting to go blank on the sides. I only noticed when I was walking away from the Bronco and set the alarm. Got the typical top and bottom dots only.......

Anybody have experience with the typical multi-year protection plans that pop up when going through checkout? Seems like a no-brainer with these. I wish I could go with something else, but the way I have my Jerry Can mounted I can't go back to standard tails.
