Back door design issue - no way to open the back door from inside

We could. But I added makeshift screens on the windows so we can have breeze without bugs but now I can’t open the door. We’re climbing in and out through the front door lol

They make tents for things like this.

All kidding aside, I bet the kids loved it! That rope trick might be your ticket to cargo camping with the kids.

Think about it. If you own a soft top, with a tailgate inside door pull, all someone needs to do is cut a rear window and open the tail gate...

That's why there is no inside pull on the tailgate.

I mean all anyone would have to do is cut the top anywhere to get in with that logic lol

well I’m an idiot and brought a beach tent instead of the full tent with doors. Thank goodness I remembered the mattress topper haha

Listen man.. the tape I happened to have with me wouldn’t stick to the interior trim so I had to improvise. I sent my little guy out the front door around to let us out the back haha

Not sure if it is true, but also heard that if your doors are off, the only way to open the tailgate (from the outside) is via the keyfob.
