Backdoor Link Help

For context I placed an order back in 12/29/21. When I try to find my bronco order in my Ford account it states I have no reservations or orders. When I check the backdoor link it says an error has occurred and I should contact my dealer. Has anyone encountered this? Is this just because my order hasn't been accepted by ford or scheduled at all? Or am I missing out on a slim sliver of hope that my order has made some progress without me knowing?

My reservation code is 8 digits, I believe you are mistaking that with your order ID, which is 4 digits

That's a good point, I was told since I don't have a reservation I should put my order number in. Maybe you're right but still feels like I should be able to check it somehow.

That link only works for original reservations. Your best contact would be your dealer and once in a while you can get help from the chat or Bronco line.

I just received my Bronco last week. It never showed up under my account on the website.

You will not be able to really track anything until you have a VIN. Did you get an email from your original order?

Yes I did get an email from the original order. but it doesn’t seem like it links to anything helpful.

There are numbers you can call direct at FMCo, but the easiest answer is to get the VIN (if the Bronco has been scheduled) from your dealer. From there, you would head to this link to check on the status. Again, you need the VIN number assigned to your order: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/

If you have the original email, then you are official. If I were you, I would follow this link: https://www.ford.com/help/contact/
And use the chat function. It seems like they are trained to not tell you anything, but this is how I actually got my build date and VIN.

Unfortunately, the whole process is a lot of waiting and little to no communication. Just make sure you have a signed order sheet that verifies your agreed price.

Try looking at the top of the forum under the tab 'Trackers'.

Backdoor will never work for you. You must have the eight digit order code for that. Order number and Vin for front door. There is a ton of info on this forum to help if you just do a little searching.

Thank you! been chatting with a ford person through that link you provided. Looks like my order is submitted but not scheduled and too late to change dealerships. Priority code is 11 now rather than the 19 I was initially assigned. They said it probably won't pop up in my ford account because I ordered through my dealership (was there way to avoid a dealership??)

Judging by the scheduling that was done last week it looks like the earliest I could be scheduled would be in the next round sometime in late June or July.
