After reading and reading and reading, I really dont see the benefit for the sasquatch package on the Badlands. Other than the wheels/tires, it just doesnt seem to add that much value. I would rather add my own tires and beadlocks down the road with what I WANT. The ratio of 4.6 vs 4.7 is not worth the upgrade IMO.

Thoughts?

I'm with you - I don't see the benefit. The badlands comes with lifted suspension doesn't it? I don't even care for the wider wheel arches.

I am confused if the front and rear lockers are standard on Badlands or an option?

Seems like Lux doesn't add leather on the Badlands, according to the packages/options one-sheet on the Ford site.
I am normally all in for leather, especially at this price point, but getting the leather wet may not be good if you plan on keeping the truck for more than 5-7 years. Think I want to go 10 years if it can hold up. As long as the vinyl comes in either blue or black, I’ll take it.

If you plan to add leather as an option, think you’ll like it just be sure to keep it clean and conditioned. I use Adams Polishes Leather Conditioner; great stuff.

I put this as my wallpaper at work yesterday morning. Haha
You’re in Atlanta too. We should coordinate a meet up and club once we get our rigs and ready to take them out to get dirty. :)

Are you guys sticking with the vinyl seating? At first I was hesitant but now I’m thinking they might be incredible as it allows me to leave the top off full time for the most part.
When I first saw vinyl seats my thought was, "Like the seats in my '69 Camaro? Oh hell no!" But then I considered it's like the seats in a speed boat then I can see how it's a good thing. Water, mold, sun fade, not a problem.

Incorrect. Yes they are available on any trim. But they are standard on the Badass trim without squatch.

For those contemplating the Badlands without squatch, and then adding 35s aftermarket, I read that the Squatch package includes “reduced suspension up travel” in order to prevent rubbing.

Ford’s way of touting best in class suspension travel and biggest tires, but they don’t want to tell you that the two can’t be combined.

At first I didn’t understand why the Badlands didn’t just include Squatch. I guess that’s why.

We have quite a few people on here from Atlanta. We will definitely have to get something going.

Same thoughts as you. Normally I'd get leather but in this case I'd prefer vinyl. Having owned a Jeep Wrangler YJ many years ago, the vinyl seats sure as hell were good to have when it got rained on (in).

I think the vinyl seats will be available in white, black, or blue. This is from memory of the leaked options, and from looking at the stock photos. I'm going to get the lightest one (white, from what I've seen), as dark vinyl gets realllllly hot in the sun.
