The subs and all should kick on right away?
Yep. Thatā€™s how I recall mine being setup. Ping me tomorrow if youā€™re still having trouble and I can double check everything.

Have you tried without the sub? It might help to simplify it down first. Can you just unplug the sub and see if you have sound to the 6.5s?

Other than that, I would triple check all of your wiring.

It was the FADER!! The switch had to be turned off then I had sound! Of course, after I tore everything apart for the 4th time. Did the auto-tune from the key mic and was all set. Sounds amazing!

Nice work! I love the sound. Such an improvement. You have the Infinity Reference speakers?

Came over from owning a Bronco Sport, just got my Bronco last Saturday, looking to install my sub soon, question I have is, firewall pass through location, trim removal and audio tap point. I've installed subs in the past in my 2019 Ranger and two F150's. Are there any surprises with the Bronco? I'll pass along my experience when complete. Thanks!

Hopefully this weekend. I ordered a few different powered subs to try out. The Kenwood, Kicker, JBL and Infinity. Are you happy with your your Infinity?
Which did you end up liking the best? Pic of install?

Do you think the sub was needed if you just had the amp + 6ā€ speakers?
No, you get a good amount of bass from the 6.5s with the amp. The sub adds that little extra which I like, but you can have a nice balanced system without it.

I spoke with someone at kicker, they stated that the 6.5ā€ speakers have a digital crossover and I need to tap the dash speakers instead to be able to get a full range of sound.

Right now Iā€™m tapped into the 6.5s and my sub wonā€™t play under 45hz.

If I added the the jbl sound bar and had ford use forscan to enable the correct settings, could I just tap into the rears at that point?

Can you elaborate on what you did/what Kicker said to do? I have added kicker speakers all around, a bi-amp harness from hoel, and a kicker key 200.4 amp. The music sound is better, but the bass is still pretty crappy and makes more of a thud sound than what a good system sounds like.

I'm adding a kicker hideaway, but it's still weird to me that a speaker upgrade with an amp wouldn't improve the bass.

The amp really woke these up. Without it you couldnā€™t even hear the 6.5ā€ kick panel speakers. With the amp they put out a ton of bass.

Iā€™m looking to buy these as well and when I click on your link for the 6-1/2ā€ speakers and enter my ā€˜22 4-door non-B&O, Crutchfield says they donā€™t fit. Do you have any insight into why Crutchfield is saying this? It does say it fits the 4ā€ dash speakers though. Thank you.
