Dumb question here:
I’d like to get my rings done in black. Do the tires have to be taken off the wheels to have them powder coated??

If you’re doing the whole wheel yes. Powder coat requires baking at 400-500 degrees. If you’re doing just the ring simply unbolt it from the wheel. It’s a cosmetic (beauty) ring.

I’m willing to bet I have more off-road miles than any other consumer 2021 Bronco in existence. Although this clip is pre powder coat.

This is going to be a popular cheap upgrade! Personally the sasquatch wheels are dog ugly and will be replaced on delivery day.

Had the beauty rings powder coated to match the race red. The color of the powder coat is called “traffic red”. The cost for the powder coat was under $100 for the 5 rings. Cheap and easy mod for those wanting to “customize”.

A part of me likes it, the other part of me would like them just black as it seems like a tad too much red. Cool to see this done though.

I’d like to just paint my Sasquatch rings black to match the wheels exactly. I prefer the look of Wildtrak wheels to Sasquatch ones. Can they do a gloss black powder coat?

I had gloss black done on my Wifes RR. Looks great. She wanted to do it. God bless her.
