When taking this pic for you I remembered the area in the corner of the bend seemed to be a problem area, so that’s why i wrapped it past the Velcro.Ordered the foam strips and look forward to wrapping the bars.

Mine were really tight at first. I used a hook to pull the latch hooks out for a few weeks, but eventually the top relaxed a little, and mine release perfectly now with no adjustment. Just needed patience.And for those of you with the latches sticking, you need to adjust the latch plates on the Bronco. There is a lot of play in them, and the Bestop tolerance is a lot tighter than the factory tops.
This was the best tip. I was having problems with mine and this worked.Thank you for this! Just got mine installed and haven't been able to figure it out til I read this
