I've camped there but can't say we went on anything more than a dirt road at times. Beautiful, beautiful country. Be prepared, there is no cell service, no support you can count on, much of it you're on your own, though I haven't been there in 20 years.

I also look forward to seeing pictures of a new Bronco at Barker Ranch in California, Manson Family's place. Supposedly a tough trail up there.

I've been wanting to go for years. It is, unfortunately, a hell of a haul from NY, where I'd be coming from probably in the winter time.

Worth noting - and this is being semantic - you can't drive on the trails in any national park (unless otherwise designated). You can't even mountain bike on them. But Big Bend, like a lot of parks, still has its share of dirt roads and "high clearance" roads. Again, semantics. Just that vehicles have to stay on the "roads", even if some of those "roads" barely qualify as such.

I have never been there but definitely a trail I want to experience in the Bronco. All the videos I've seen on the YouTube of it look amazing.

Not from Texas, but we were there a while back. We plan on going again. Maybe we will join the Texas group on a trip to Big Bend.

Here are a couple of low quality vids from our trip for those that haven't been yet. And a few pics.

Haven’t been but can’t wait to go. I’m going as soon as I get very familiar with the Bronco and have all my recovery gear, comms, survival stuff, etc. Gonna do White Sands in New Mexico afterwards.

It's actually a pretty good spot to get to know your Bronco. The trails are easy. There is only one minor obstacle in the whole place. You probably already know this but it is the desert so bring a ton of extra water. Let someone know your plans and when you will check in with them. You won't need a winch. If you can travel with a group the first time or another vehicle you'll find it to be quite safe.

I have been there quite a few times and would like to go exploring out there in my Bronco. Bit of a haul though from the Pacific Northwest. I love that park.

Hmm...I wonder if I can talk my Wife into another road trip down to Texas after we get the Bronco and hit this trail. It looks like a lot of fun!

Stupidly enough, I almost want to go with the Big Bend Trim just for the fact of taking it to Big Bend National Park. *laughs*

There seems to be pretty large number of folks buying at a West Texas dealership I don't see posted about on the forum much, and a lot of folks on FB that seem to have not found this page. I know of at least a half dozen people just in Odessa with reservations, but I guess they haven't found this page yet. Anyway, we've started a FB group for folks traveling out that way to pick up their Broncos and some of the local guys are planning on making multiple trips to Big Bend to meet and ride with some fellow owners. We're still a long ways off from having dates, but we're just hoping to get some folks together and get a lot of Broncos out to the Park.

Have any of our Texas members/buyers been to Big Bend and spent time on the trails? Would live to get some Broncos out together to the Park.
Amazing place, amazing scenery, and huge. I was there in 1998 for a couple of days. Love to go back.
