Thanks for posting! What size wheels? Is that a ‘29’er’?

Those are 27.5 wheels. The bike is a Marin Rift Zone 2, size L, if you are looking for size references.
Thanks again! And nice choice of bike!

I've had mine and my wife's MTB bikes standing up in the back. Front wheel off with the rear wheel on the carpet of the folded down rear seats. 4dr. My next project is to make a removable 2x8 plank with fork mounts on it to fit in place across the back. Still lots of room for gear, tools and shit. Even a cooler, camp burners... That bike there. A 29" Evil following and my wife's 26" Trek..

The right size bike does fit in a 2 door without removing anything 😋

This is one thing that I'm worried about also. The wife has to ride a 3 wheel trike because of a car accident some years back. It's foldable, and fits in the rear of my Jeep 4 door with the handle bars off, no problem. With the floor of the Bronco raised behind the rear seats I may be screwed, but where there's a will there's a way.

Of course I may be worried over nothing. By the time Ford deems me worthy I'll probably be on a walker, and can't ride a bike anyway. :)

Ok, so my 20" 1987 GT Performer was kinda a tongue in cheek post, but it got me thinking, what about my other bikes?!? So here's a 26" BMX Cruiser and a 29" BMX Cruiser, stuffed into my 2 door! I had to get creative with the rear seat fold, but man am I glad I tried these out!

I feel like if you put a tailgate pad on the back and drive with the rear window open you may be able to fit one inside. Never tried it tho

I'm disappointed that my road bike does not fit better in my four door. Seat is too high and I don't like to mess with it. I did find a nice rack/ hitch combo. No extender or swing arm. Drawtite hitch and 1up rack.

Wanting to bump this thread now that more people are driving their Broncos. I thought this vehicle would offer greater versatility compared to my more traditional SUV due to the larger square rear cargo space, but perhaps all this time waiting is giving me too much time to doubt my judgement.

I ended up going down this road as a tangent from a pickup truck like the Tacoma because I wanted to make transport of gear, particularly bikes, easier. That includes bikes in the winter, when they need to be inside the vehicle to prevent getting covered in salt (a bed cap would therefore be needed for a pickup).

I am starting to feel that the Bronco does not achieve this original goal unless I can get at least one bike inside the vehicle easily. That is 75% of my use-case. In those cases, when multiple bikes are needed in the non-winter months, the use of a hitch mounted rack will be fine, but comes with the additional steps of using a swing out mount plus, possibly, an extension due to the spare tire mounted on the back.

Was hoping to achieve something akin to this in a four-door (with both sides of the bench down):
