You do not want to use this on black ice. There is no side to side distribution, just locked. You will find yourself sideways in a heartbeat. Been there.

I don't think that's what that means. The advanced system can lock the front and rear axles together just like they would be with the manual 4WD. It is not a locker for either differential. That's a seperate option. Its more like an advanced All-Wheel drive system that switches to normal four wheel drive.

Ugh, I so badly wanted to go BD... but after messing with the BB... I feel like I get more of what I want. Like the LED Headlamps. The vinyl seats aren't that important to me. And sure a steel bumper and rock rails would be great... if I were rock climbing, but I'm not, and won't... Idk, maybe it's just my particular build, but I feel I get more from the BB, and it comes in like $500 cheaper.

I just realized, side steps probably aren’t available on the BD because the rock rails are attached factory so they can’t also attach the sidesteps?‍
