I will either have my dealer order or take them Cooper ST MAXX 285/75/17s to put on before I take delivery. It won't be the sasquatch package, but it will be a decent 33 inch tire. Wish I could just option the front locker.
My dealer said they'd buy the stock 32's off it when delivered and put 33's on it of my choosing. Would only give me 100 or so per tire on the take offs but that's much easier than taking them off and selling them online.

Question for the thread, someone posted above that only the carbonite gray top is available for the BD? We can't get a solid black hardtop? I had missed that in my reading or is the other poster incorrect?

Sounds like a good deal on the tires. I'll put the stock tires on my truck since it will need tires next spring anyway.

Thoughts on the steelies? I actually like them... and will rock them for a bit before switching out. Don't LOVE any of the OEM upgrades, so will go aftermarket once the steelies lose their shine. (I can't believe I just said that)

The only issue I have with the steelies is the 7.5in width. I'd rather have 8in. Also, the backspacing may be an issue for putting a wider tire on as well, but we don't know those specs yet, I don't think.
Otherwise, I like them.

I am new to the board. I am going with 2-door Big Bend mainly trying to keep price down so I can add the automatic and mid package.

I am hoping we get more examples of what the colors look like. I want to see the carbonized grey? I love the cyber orange but will that color get old after a while?

If only they came out with grabber blue in it...that would have been hot. I had a grabber blue mustang. That is my color.

This is where ford hit a home run in my opinion my mind was going crazy last night before I ordered going back and forth and when I seen the black diamond came with 1 rear locker at least and heavy duty bumpers and the rubber drain floor and vinyl seats it was a no brainer we get way better tires stock too than the jeeps get in my opinion 32 not to shabby. My price as of now with the destination fee is 37500 for the 2 door plan on upgrading to 10 speed auto Apple car play and maybe color matching roof depending on price but will be happy with the carbon roof
What’s the Destination fee ? Did the dealership tell you this

I was interested in the BD/Sasquatch/Manual, but with today's news I'm not so sure. If I want BD and Squatch, then I also have to add the 2.7/auto. Money just keeps adding up. Ford really effed this up....

On a side note do they make a product to help protect the black fender flares from turning that ugly faded white color like you see on so many Jeep Wrangler fender flares
Try this. We discovered it with our boat for the marine vinyl and also use it on our golf cart to keep plastics looking fresh and the seats clean after the pool, etc. Protects from UV. We use both the wipes and the spray.

Been lurking for a while, haven’t had a valid reason to post or comment until now.
I reserved a 2 door badlands, but think I’m going to do a black Diamond instead. Already talked to my dealer and he verified it can be changed before order time.

I liked what the badlands had to offer, but for the $6k price difference, I get better about getting a mid level badlands with the samsquanch package. I’m losing the larger screen (hopefully trail mapping isn’t exclusive to the 12” like FCA did with Off Road+ on the JL/JT), and the front Discos.

I figure (hoping) a mid level BD with samsquanch pack shouldn’t come in to much over the base badlands. I’m thinking 42-45k range.

going 2.7/10 spd. As much as I love wheeling a manual, I’m getting old and I’d rather just mash the skinny pedal anymore.

I’m torn between Antimatter and Carbon. AM really pops, but if it’s like the one that was posted the other day I’d rather play it safe.

Howdy y'all. 4dr Black Diamond reservation here. Planning on 2.7L with the mid package and still on the fence about the Sasquatch package as this will be the daily driver and long range road trip vehicle in our family. Live in the high desert of New Mexico so everything is a bit of a drive. I'm guessing there won't be a massive difference in road noise of the 33" AT vs the 35" MT but if anyone wants to chime in i'd appreciate thoughts. I run 32" AT on my Land Rover Series 3 but that's a whole different platform.

For rocks and desert I think you'd do fine on a good AT or hybrid style. I've had good luck with Cooper St Maxx but the grabbers we supposedly are getting get good reviews too. I haven't had good luck with Goodyear's tbh.
