Ordered a VB 2dr with no options.
Will put 255/80/17s on at the dealer before taking delivery.
Plans are for Fox 2.5 coilovers and eventual 285/75/17s.

I only added the advanced 4x4 as an admission I will occasionally need to drive on road.

I understand the difference in what SAS includes at each trim level. What does a BL have that a BD does not if both have SAS, Mid and 2.7 to justify the $3k difference in price (basically identical options added to each results in the BL costing $3k more than the BD), only thing I come up with for a difference is auto sway disco...maybe the suspension is still different between them?

Once Sas'd, both have the 35's, same front diff, same lift, locker, wheels, etc...

BL has the $800 Sig lights, disconnect, and upgraded instrument panel ( whatever that is). Plus you pay for the privilege to be able to upgrade to the high or lux package. Ford built in a lot of money for nothing in the Bronco, more than any other vehicle I have seen.

I am just completing my order today.. .have been switching around from BB to Wildtrack and did more figuring today and ended up with a BlackDiam.. I like the seats better. seem close to Leather without the leather cost... better for the dogs than cloth... and l like that it comes with the heavier bumper and other options..

my question for you guys.. I have weather Tech or the like floor liners in all my other cars to protect the carpet.. Black Diamond has "washout" interior.. I had selected that I wanted floor liners, but then thought.. I am not protecting carpet... does it come with something? I would think it does... so do I need floor liners instead of whatever it comes with to protect the washout interior.. I see that a bunch of you selected the added floor liners.. are we just wasting $160? Thoughts?

I asked the dealer, Granger, what his thoughts were and he said.. good question.. hah...

So this is my build almost exactly is a 2Door BD, in velocity blue with 17” steelies. Only thing missing is the brush bar.

Now that I’ve seen an actual photo vs B&P rendering, I’m starting to think of a decent BD tire/wheel setup. I’ll definitely use the 17” Steelies with General Grabbers for winter, but want a dedicated off road tire/rim combo.

Going off the picture there is plenty of room for something much bigger before getting into any lifting.

What do you thing the biggest wheel setup that the BD can accommodate before needing a lift?

Thoughts?

The consensus seems to be that 33” will fit, such as 255/80 or 285/70. We have yet to learn if a 285/75 will fit.

The nice thing about the wait is all the time I’ll have to research and buy stuff for my bronco! Starting with wheels and tires!

1. Yeah he’s an idiot.
2. As far as anyone knows the $695 option is just a 3 year navigation subscription. It is not the 12” screen like the picture shows on the B&P.
