the BD is a great trim, and with the best interior IMO

I'm planning on BL as I want SIG + High, but if the final prices are too crazy BD is my 2nd choice with aftermarket lights and wheels

I see a lot of post and pictures about the Badlands and Wildtrack but not much on the Black Diamond. I have built all of them out several times and it seems I’m getting the most bang for my buck with a Black Diamond. My must haves for me are 4dr, 2.7, Squach package, MIC and Mid Level trim. For my lifestyle I really like the Marine Grade seats also. One thing I wish I could have is sway bar disconnect. Anyone else thinking the same way? I’m I missing something by not upgrading to the Badlands or Wildtrack?
Don’t like the MIC top, steelies, MGV, headlights or lack of high/lux packages.

Are the fender flares grey or black? In the B&P they look black but I seen some pictures where they were grey? This is a deciding factor on my color, I think grey flares would look goofy on VB but ok on CG?

Black. They only look gray if dirty or under the harsh lighting of the factory

We must be thinking exactly alike. I have the same build, and also have up the sway bar disco...

I’m actually changing to the painted valve top now that it’s available. Don’t like the steelies either. Mid package give me all I would really want except for the heated steering wheel and the signature lights would be nice but I can live without. Maybe swap them in later, it looks like they will make easy swappable parts.

I am going with the Black painted top now to match the rest of the trim.

The build in my order:
BD / A51 / Steelies / Mid / 2.7 / Advanced 4x4
+ tow, sound deadening, roof rack, brush guard

Basically I liked the look of the one here, although I might end up changing to Cyber Orange and dropping tow to compensate somewhat.

I am just completing my order today.. .have been switching around from BB to Wildtrack and did more figuring today and ended up with a BlackDiam.. I like the seats better. seem close to Leather without the leather cost... better for the dogs than cloth... and l like that it comes with the heavier bumper and other options..

my question for you guys.. I have weather Tech or the like floor liners in all my other cars to protect the carpet.. Black Diamond has "washout" interior.. I had selected that I wanted floor liners, but then thought.. I am not protecting carpet... does it come with something? I would think it does... so do I need floor liners instead of whatever it comes with to protect the washout interior.. I see that a bunch of you selected the added floor liners.. are we just wasting $160? Thoughts?

I asked the dealer, Granger, what his thoughts were and he said.. good question.. hah...
