After looking at this kit, I did go directly to the Ford Accessories site and order that black stainless steel plate frame... with the current 25% off it was $26.25.

With my FordPass points & free dealer pick up, it seemed reasonable enough. Surely there's nothing wrong with a little splurge from time to time.

I’d like to say I won’t get this but I might though. I think with hot pepper red and blacked out look it’ll be more sharp than the warm alloy for sure. only thing grill will be carbonized gray so may have to swap that also. would’ve ordered Wildtrak if it had mgv.
Here's my HPR base Bronco with Wildtrak rims I found nearby...I love my $38k Wildtrak.

It's not though. But it should be. There is no reason why the black lugs weren't standard on a Wildtrak. I bought just the lugs because I couldn't stand the silver ones.
Yeah, that is a bother of mine with my WT. Silver lugs. Like, why??

May spring for the black lugs as well.

Can we please be done with blackout everything?

Call me when the Ford chrome out kit is available.
🤮

Chrome is for classics. Just doesn’t look right on most modern vehicles. Something about modern lines makes chrome look like AutoZone accessorizing to me.

But, that’s just my take. To each their own. Hoping you get that chrome package. I’ll just keep barf bags in the truck. Lol.

Perhaps, but a lot of trucks still rock chrome bumpers and grilles, so I think it can work. Just has to be done carefully

I have black 1 piece lug nuts and blacked out center caps. Just waiting for the Wildtrak to arrive.

Yeah, you make a good point. Definitely lots of good looking trucks with chrome bumpers. I guess, anything above that level on the truck is where you start to lose me. Like mirrors with chrome caps and trimming windows/pillars with it. Wouldn’t judge anyone for liking it. Just not my cup of tea on a modern vehicle.

Which paint did you use? I’m going to do it myself as well. I’ve blacked out chrome on my current car DIY and it’s held up for 3 yrs so far.
sorry I don't remember what I used. I used the same paint as someone on here after seeing how it came out for them
