It's not though. But it should be. There is no reason why the black lugs weren't standard on a Wildtrak. I bought just the lugs because I couldn't stand the silver ones.

The inclusion of the license plate frame is such a joke.

Ford already was charging 600or700$ for the beauty rings. So couple hundred bucks for the emblem, lugs, and license plate frame.

Easy installation is a joke. Taking those beauty rings off is a nightmare. I stripped 3 of them using torx plus, and one of my sockets literally snapped from how much locktite they put on the bolts. Then they charge 23$ for a single bolt.

I paid 200$ for powder coating my 5 wheels, and 30$ for a black emblem.

I’d like to say I won’t get this but I might though. I think with hot pepper red and blacked out look it’ll be more sharp than the warm alloy for sure. only thing grill will be carbonized gray so may have to swap that also. would’ve ordered Wildtrak if it had mgv.

But have you seen color matching top and rings on a hot pepper red? If not, here you go… (deleted to cover the plate)

Just a note that not YMMV on pricing for powder-coating the beauty rings. I was quoted $500 from one shop and $625 from another, both in the New York metro area. I ended up foregoing that route and instead bought a set of 5 gloss black knockoff beauty rings from a seller on eBay (local, not overseas vendor) for $350 (cheapest I could find the Ford OEM were $600). I also did the black bronco badge, the black Ford emblem, and the "BRONCO" script emblems in black chrome from StickerFab, all for less than the $900 of this package.

There's a second blackout kit that's half the price. Once you have it, put your hands over your eyes and voila! Money well spent.

Which paint did you use? I’m going to do it myself as well. I’ve blacked out chrome on my current car DIY and it’s held up for 3 yrs so far.
