I should have taken all of the reports regarding the cheap ass windshields Ford uses for the Bronco seriously. My Big Bend has 2 major cracks from debris while driving on highway home. What a waste of money this purchase was. Less than 5,000 miles. My advise, DO NOT buy a Bronco unless you own a glass company.

No issues here at 14k miles. The wife caught a rock on her last two Mercedes within a few months. The 2nd one was driving home from the dealership after purchasing ! Told her to stop tailgating and no issues in the 2 years since.

That said, HE'S NOT LYING! @popo_patty had zero protection from his windshield while being pulled out of the ditch. Ford just cheaping out on their windshields. If you want a quality, rock and shackle-proof windshield, hit up Sierra Glass. We carry only the highest quality glass in the industry.

Stop following people closely. Stop riding next to or behind tractor trailers or any trailer. It’s an upright flat windshield, things happen. Got a star on mine the second week but fixed it with the rain x windshield repair kit. Still good a year later

Makes me think about the people that complain about those with tires that stick outside of the fenders a couple inches. "You're going to get a felony after chipping someone's windshield! Prison for life! So careless!" I followed wifey in her portal bronco on 40" mud tires that stick out of the fenders a few inches, in my stock bronco, for 1200 miles. Somehow I was able to do this successfully without any chips. Must be that Sierra Glass...

34k miles and while I have a couple small chips, no cracks or areas of concern *knock on wood*

The worst rock hit I ever got came from oncoming traffic. Their tire picked it up and flung it right at me. I even saw the hit with a replay on my dash cam. Was shocked it didn't crack the window. It was loud enough, it startled me.

It’s not “cheap ass” glass. It’s the angle, Ann a tone with a Jeep and it’s the same problem.

well I've got close to 4 years and 30k+ miles on my Bronco and I haven't got so much as a chip in my windshield, so I guess my experience is much different from yours.

Eff the windshield, I just put a helmet on and take it in the teeth. Wee, motorcycle! Momma says I'm special but that's just cuz I whistle when I talk.
