This is my current setup. 21 Badlands, 90k miles, RPG components, King 2.5s w/external bypass, 35" Maxxis, and Icon bead locks. I'm pretty aggressive on it and I'm on my second front diff, transfer case steering rack and CVs. Warranty repairs, thank god.

I'm at the point where the weak component is the rack and I'm looking to upgrade to the BroncBuster Steering Solution. It says it's compatible with ANY Bronco 21-23 but the Hoss 3.0 on the Ford Performance site says it's not compatible with the non-SAS trims. Has anyone done this install? Feedback? Thoughts and prayers?

74 weld steering is far superior. BB copies everyone's else's designs. And his BB tie rod braces are a (copy) joke in the Bronco community. (If you know, you know)
I won't buy ANYTHING from Broncbuster.
The ONLY reason his junk is compatible, Is because he uses the rack-hack programming I pioneered here on 6g, and makes a profession out of it. (with no mention of that on his website)
Do some research before you spend a dollar on his garbage.

What @BigMeatsBronco said has a lot of merit.
There are other, even cheaper options, but I will say that it has had held up for me.
YMMV 🤠

Oh yeah, the braces look bad & are an inconvenience to take off & on when I need an alignment.

The entire rack bushing debacle kind of turned me off BB. He may be a great guy, and I don't have any ill will against him, but he took a nice simple $50 upgrade part effectively off the market and locked it behind his shop.

Now, if he holds this patent and developed it in house, I can't really blame him for suing other copycats (or whatever he did, I have no knowledge I admit) and kicking them off the market. But I also won't pay $350 for the $5 piece of plastic that other folks were selling for $50. There's a line behind making a tidy profit and just flat out ripping people off, and in this case he's waaaay over that line.

My turn off was when he basically said all B6G members were "hillbillies". I can remember him bragging up his upcoming "solution" and my first thought was the $50 "fix" because I had seen it before in the 2500 Silverado 4X4s that broke tie rods. Then to make what is basically that but out of billet for 400 bucks I knew there would be no BB in my future.

Personally, I would go 74Weld or Vasher Design.

Whoa, I missed that one :sneaky:

I had read it in a YT comment  maybe a FB comment section. It was not on the forum here, guess I should have clarified. I have a bad habit of reading through the comments on stuff to see if I can "learn a little sumpin". Sometimes it is a waste of time, others not. ;)

@BAUS67 if he's making comments like that, he is even worse at business than he is driving šŸ¤”
Nothing like insulting / ticking off a large share of potential customers :sneaky:

To answer the OP’s question. Staying out of BB politics.

Been running a full BB rack (without braces) for 30,000 miles now on 37’s and a lift. Been everywhere, done everything. Not a single hiccup. It’s a true plug n play. The band aids work.
I have a video of the installation of the BB rack and the stage 2 74Weld stuff if you’re curious.

I thought that was how internet forums worked. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Yellow Bullet, the old Pirate 4x4, for that matter I've seen it on Wrangler forums. Better buckle up your bootstraps when confronting some of those guys.

Oh for sure, it’s the accepted norm. it’s also the accepted norm to receive it.

edit: personally I take pride in being called a hill billy lol. I may live in CA now but I grew up in a 3rd world country in the mountains driving an atv and a OG Land Cruiser through little mountain roads. Also spent a year living off the grid in North Carolina with no electric power running around barefoot. (No feet pics, sorry. Now that I’m in Cali, everyone just assumes I’m a Californian…:(

I was wondering where the "popo" came from. You were so "po" you had to say it twice 🤣
